Role: Technical IT Manager/Leader – Europe | London

Location: London / Hybrid

Coverage: Europe, with some support for US-based users

I’m looking for an experienced Technical IT Manager/Leader to join a growing Operations & Technology team in London.

This is a hands-on technical regional IT role with responsibility for supporting European offices while also providing support to US-based users when required.

You’ll own day-to-day IT operations across end-user technology, cloud services, applications, networking, asset management and workplace technology. You’ll also act as the key escalation point between the internal team and a managed service provider responsible for Level 1 support and network issues.

The role

You’ll be responsible for keeping the technology environment running smoothly across multiple European locations, while providing a high-quality experience for users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing competing priorities and getting involved in everything from straightforward laptop and software issues to more complex infrastructure and network incidents.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hands‑on technical support to users across Europe, with some support for US‑based colleagues
  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for European vendors and managed service providers

  • Act as the escalation point for the managed service provider supporting Level 1 and network issues
  • Manage user administration across endpoints, cloud platforms, applications and network accounts
  • Manage laptops and technology throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, warranties, licensing, refresh dates and end‑of‑life information
  • Coordinate the repair, replacement, collection and distribution of technology equipment
  • Ensure conference rooms, meeting spaces, video conferencing and AV technology remain fully operational
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, software and endpoint issues
  • Support IT security and compliance requirements, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001
  • Assist with technology projects and initiatives, including M&A integrations

What we’re looking for

  • Experience managing IT operations and support across multiple countries or markets
  • Strong hands‑on experience supporting Mac and Windows environments
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Slack and Microsoft technologies
  • Experience managing endpoints and Mac environments
  • Knowledge of core networking principles and troubleshooting
  • Experience with conference room, Zoom/Teams and AV technology
  • Experience with SOC 2 Type 2 and/or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working with users at every level of technical ability
  • Self‑motivated, organised and able to work independently
  • M&A technology integration experience
  • Scripting and automation experience
  • Experience working within a multi‑site international organisation
  • Experience working in a security‑conscious or regulated environment
