A financial service is looking to hire a senior DevOps and (AWS) Cloud Engineer.
This role will require you to be in the office 5 days per week during your probation period of six months.
You would be responsible for:
- Creating, managing, and maintaining cloud (AWS) infrastructure using \”infrastructure as code\” tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Terraform, Ansible) and techniques.
- Automating code and infrastructure deployments, backups, and any other assets that can be automated.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Working with DevOps Engineers in other teams to ensure architecture standards are defined, aligned, and adhered to, as well as facilitating deployments.
Therefore, they are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Advanced working knowledge of AWS services and technologies – networking, compute, storage, security, IAM, and EKS.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and technologies.
- Strong ability to automate deployment and configuration changes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
