PMO Manager required for a leading client based in London. You will join a global delivery function supporting a large-scale infrastructure-focused portfolio, ensuring strong governance, financial oversight, and operational continuity across a portfolio of projects and business-critical initiatives.
- Key skills and responsibilities:
- Proven experience working as a PMO Manager within complex portfolio environment
- Strong financial PMO experience with deep understanding of portfolio and project financials
- Experience leading monthly governance forums, reporting cycles, and board pack creation
- Ability to ensure Project Managers are following agreed delivery methodologies
- Experience overseeing portfolio financial actuals and governance structures
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with PMs, PMO teams, and senior leadership
- Experience managing large portfolios consisting of projects, continuous improvement, and maintenance initiatives
- Background working within infrastructure-focused environments
- Experience conducting QA reviews and driving process improvements across PMO functions
- Exposure to digitisation initiatives, BI reporting, and creating a “single source of truth” environment
- Understanding of how AI can be leveraged to improve PMO processes and reporting efficiencies
- Experience mentoring or managing junior PMO resources and improving process ownership
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-stakes global environment with flexible collaboration hours when required
