PMO Lead – Yorkshire, UK – £70,000 per annum – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial services organisation in Yorkshire, we are delighted to present a brand new opportunity for a PMO Lead. This role has been created as a result of significant investment and transformation within the company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and driving the success of the project management office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the PMO, ensuring alignment with the organisation\’s goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee project governance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to project managers and teams.
• Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and issues.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PMO Lead or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, P30, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
