My client is embarking on an exciting digital transformation programme and requires a Digital Portfolio & Planning Analyst to create and manage the Digital Portfolio Plan covering all Digital Product activity across the business.

The role:
Identify and manage critical constraints, dependencies, and risks across the Digital Portfolio, and wider IT landscape
- Identify options and solutions for conflicts within the Digital Portfolio Plan and obtain agreement from senior stakeholders to proposed solutions
- Run the governance framework for the overall Digital delivery Portfolio; ensuring that dependent activities are appropriately captured and prioritised in Product Team backlogs
- Work with delivery teams to estimate resource requirements and costs to deliver the agreed Portfolio Plan, utilising both internal and external resources; and forecast longer term requirements based on Product Roadmaps
- Monitor and report on performance against the Digital Portfolio Plan and accuracy of resource estimates
Experience Required:
- Experienced in the creation and management of Portfolio level plans within a digital Product team environment
- Strong dependency management and risk management skills
- Experience of working with Agile in an enterprise environment (e.g. SAFe)
- Experience of resource forecasting and management
- Logical and analytical approach with the ability to identify and manage dependencies and risks
- Ability to maintain progress when there is ambiguity
- Takes ownership for area of responsibility and actively drives issues to conclusion
