We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-level CRM transformation. This is a unique "hybrid" architect role; while you will be the technical lead for architectural decisions and stakeholder management, you must be a hands-on practitioner willing to "get your hands dirty" alongside our development team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Asset Management and Field Service, alongside core CRM (Sales/Service) functions.
Role Snapshot:
- Location: Fully remote (UK-wide)
- Rate: Β£500-600/day outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Lead the creation of high-level and detailed solution designs, ensuring alignment with business goals and Microsoft best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidently present architectural roadmaps and project updates to C-suite and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value.
- Hands-on Implementation: Actively support the development team by troubleshooting complex issues, reviewing code, and occasionally performing advanced configuration or coding when required.
- Advanced UI/UX Implementation: Lead the development of custom Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls to enhance the user experience, specifically utilizing third-party libraries such as AG Grid for advanced data handling and custom charting.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- D365 Core: Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Service) and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Development Tools: Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and the Web API.
- PCF Controls: Deep experience building and implementing PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls. Proficiency with AG Grid, Kendo UI, or similar high-performance grid/charting libraries is essential.
- Integrations: Experience architecting integrations between D365 and external systems (ERP, or legacy databases) using Azure Logic Apps or Service Bus.
