The successful candidate will look after a portfolio of payroll clients and will take full responsibility for the end-to-end processing of the payrolls including the pension and auto enrolment administration attached to those payrolls. They will maintain the payroll system and records by capturing, calculating and inputting data. The candidate will have the understanding and ability to calculate all payments including statutory and occupational sick pay, and maternity and parental leave.
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of two years end-to-end payroll experience (preferably within a bureau environment), a deep understanding of PAYE procedures, excellent mathematical skills with an ability to calculate statutory payments, and excellent knowledge and skills with payroll software, spreadsheets and journals. A sound understanding of pensions and auto enrolment administration, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines, is essential.
