Payments – Strategic Advisory – Public Sector
- Significant and pivotal governmental department making a growth hire.
- Key strategic driver = Investment and subsequent innovation of their payments ecosystem.
- Will require transforming their operational / technological architecture / processes.
- Goal = Improve customer journeys, reduce fraud and optimise time and costs.
Desired Skills / Experience:
- At least 5 years\’ in Treasury / Cash Management / Payments roles – BAU & Projects.
- Mentored others.
- Knowledge of payment systems (CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments), end-to-end processes (internal & external: payment initiation, manual bank transfer, cheque / debit cards) & payment controls.
- Work in Payments for a Government department, or Financial Services firm specialising in Payment services / products.
- Understanding of latest payments policy / regulations (e.g. ISO20022, PSD, FCA\’s \”Operational Resilience\” initiative).
Package:
- Compensation = Up to £60,000 base + 10% Bonus + Good Pension
- Locations = Any one of: London / North West England / Glasgow
- Hybrid Working – 5 day work week – 3 days in office
