.NET Developer – 12 Month FTC – Preston (Hybrid)
About the Role:
We're looking for a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join our growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Preston, this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting digital transformation projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
You'll be working across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of scalable .NET applications that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI, and DevOps
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platformsStrong understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
