Senior Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Consultant We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Consultant to join our Cloud Services team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on designing, delivering and optimising enterprise-scale Azure Virtual Desktop solutions for a range of customers. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through to implementation, migration, testing and operational handover, acting as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools, session hosts, application delivery and image management. Deliver secure, scalable Azure solutions aligned with customer requirements and Microsoft best practices. Implement and support Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Azure networking and security services. Configure and troubleshoot FSLogix profile solutions. Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell. Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps or GitHub. Lead customer workshops, technical assessments and design sessions. Produce high-quality technical documentation and support successful service transitions. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience designing and delivering Azure Virtual Desktop solutions in enterprise environments. Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience. Excellent knowledge of: Azure Virtual Desktop Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access Azure Infrastructure & Networking FSLogix PowerShell Experience producing technical designs, implementation documentation and customer-facing deliverables.
