Build and grow the future of our Manchester office. At Harvey Nash, technology and talent are at our core. For over 35 years, we've connected exceptional talent with some of the world's most innovative organisations, from start-ups and scale-ups to global enterprises and government departments.

As part of our continued growth, we're looking for an experienced tech recruiter to join our UKI Tech Specialisms practice as a Managing Consultant in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an established recruitment leader looking for more autonomy and progression, or a high-performing Senior or Principal Consultant ready to step into management.

You'll inherit a team of three recruiters (2 Contract and 1 Permanent), alongside a warm, profitable platform with established client relationships and existing revenue. The role remains hands-on and billing-focused, with the opportunity to drive strategy, develop new business, coach high performance and scale the team. This isn't a turnaround project or a build-from-scratch role. It's an opportunity to take something already successful and help build it into a market-leading division.

What will you be doing?

  • You'll lead the performance and growth of our Manchester Tech Specialisms team while continuing to build your own market presence.
  • Drive new business development across the UK & Ireland.
  • Build and develop long-term client partnerships.
  • Re-engage existing clients to generate new opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of three consultants.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team on growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams across the Harvey Nash network.
  • Play a key role in scaling the Manchester office.

Who are you?

  • A proven track record in Contract or Permanent technology recruitment.
  • Strong billing performance and a commercial mindset.
  • Confident winning new business and growing client relationships.
  • An ambitious recruiter who enjoys leading and developing others.
  • Passionate about recruitment and relationship-led success.

Why Harvey Nash?

  • An established team, existing revenue and strong client relationships.
  • The opportunity to shape strategy and influence growth.
  • One of the strongest commission structures in the market: up to 35% on Contract, up to 25% on Permanent (plus a 15% quarterly bonus).
  • Investment in AI, delivery support and market-leading technology.
  • A true tech-specialist environment within our UKI Tech Specialisms community.
  • Hybrid flexibility, a great culture and a central Manchester office.
  • Clear progression based on performance, not tenure.
  • The opportunity to build and scale your own specialist division.

If you're ready to take ownership of your market, expand your influence and join a business that genuinely invests in your success, we'd love to hear from you.
