We are hiring for a Test Lead (Maternity Cover – 1 Year FTC) with a base pay of c.£62K, located in Egham, Surrey, with hybrid working available.

Further information on hybrid arrangements: Office attendance up until the end of this year is as and when required for key project/team meetings – circa 3-4 times per month. From January next year, the expectation is that people will work from the office 4 days in every 10 working days (average of 2 per week).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing across multiple Agile projects
- Manage, support, and develop a high-performing test team
- Define test strategies, execute plans, and monitor progress
- Ensure quality across software releases, from development to go-live
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and delivery standards
- Build strong relationships with business and tech stakeholders
- Mentor team members and support their growth
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in software testing, ideally with leadership exposure
- Hands-on experience with API, web, cross-platform, and non-functional testing
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiar with JIRA, TFS, ALM, SQL, HTML, Postman, SOAP UI
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across departments
Bonus points for:
- Logistics industry experience
- C#/.NET exposure
- Automation or Selenium knowledge
- ISTQB certification
