We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in leading the architectural design for the replacement of legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with existing technical experts to decode and document the complex, often undocumented as-is architecture, including direct database connections, legacy XML feeds, and custom point-to-point scripts.
- Provide strategic oversight for the design of the comprehensive to-be architecture mapped to the seven core functional modules: Commissioning, Identity, Rights/Contracts, Financial Processing, Sales/Licensing, Analytics, and Integration Layer.
- Architect a modern integration layer with secure, scalable API flows and message queues to connect the platform with existing editorial production systems, corporate systems, and external SaaS applications.
- Develop a phased migration roadmap that allows the business to transition functionality out of the legacy application safely.
- Establish clear data ownership boundaries to resolve current data synchronization and identity resolution issues.
Technologies: API, Architect, XML, Oracle
We are working on a 12-month hybrid contract inside IR35 for a Solution Architect role focused on replacing legacy systems. This is an opportunity to shape the architecture for a complex platform, including integration design, target-state architecture, phased migration, and master data management.
