We are looking for a Technical Trainer to play a key role in enabling our people to successfully adopt new applications, systems, and processes. This role focuses on the people side of change and support. You will bridge the gap between technology and user proficiency by assessing learning needs, developing high-quality training materials, delivering engaging training sessions, and supporting change initiatives. Working closely with product, change, HR, and project teams, you will help ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and that colleagues feel confident, capable, and supported.

Change & Adoption

  • Develop and support the delivery of change management strategies to enable adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Identify people-side risks and potential resistance, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Provide guided support to users to improve digital literacy, efficiency, and application adoption.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support product design and development by contributing user, business, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for internal application development and enhancements.
  • Work closely with communication, change, HR, and organisational development specialists to support successful project implementation.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners.

Strong understanding of how people experience and respond to change. Proven experience delivering technical training and/or change initiatives in a complex organisation. Solid knowledge of the insurance industry (London Market experience desirable). Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex information clearly to varied audiences. Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups, including senior and external stakeholders. Outcome-focused, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities. Strong coaching, facilitation, and active listening skills. Collaborative team player with the ability to motivate others toward shared goals. Familiarity with project management methodologies and project lifecycle phases. Comfortable using learning technologies such as LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Articulate 360, Vyond, and Canva is preferred.
