A global Automotive organisation is continuing to scale ServiceNow as a core enterprise platform underpinning IT, engineering, manufacturing and corporate services. To support this growth, we are seeking a ServiceNow Platform Architect to define and govern how ServiceNow is designed, extended and operated across a complex, multi-region environment. This is a senior architectural role with responsibility for ensuring ServiceNow remains scalable, secure, compliant and aligned to enterprise architecture principles, while supporting ongoing digital transformation at global scale.
As ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will act as the design authority for the ServiceNow platform, setting architectural standards, guardrails and patterns that shape all current and future implementations. You will sit above individual projects and delivery teams, focusing on platform-wide architecture, governance and long-term sustainability, working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Cloud and senior IT leadership. This role is ideal for someone with deep ServiceNow knowledge who wants to operate at an enterprise, cross-domain architectural level rather than purely hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring consistency across modules, regions and business units.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practice, covering:
- Configuration vs customisation
- Data models and CMDB architecture
- Integration and interface patterns
- Security and access models
- Enterprise Architecture principles
- Cloud and integration strategies
- Cyber security and compliance requirements
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects to align ServiceNow with broader technology strategy.
- Partner with Security, Infrastructure and Integration teams to maintain platform integrity.
- Engage with senior IT and business stakeholders to translate enterprise needs into architectural outcomes.
- Influence global stakeholders while balancing regional requirements with enterprise consistency.
Skills & Experience

- Proven experience operating as a ServiceNow Platform or Technical Architect in a large organisation.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architectural concepts, including:
- Multi-module platform design
- CMDB and data governance
- Integrations and enterprise interfaces
Desirable
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing or engineering-led enterprises.
- Exposure to multiple ServiceNow product suites (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
Why Join?
- Architect a globally scaled ServiceNow platform at enterprise level.
- High visibility and influence across technology and business leadership.
- Long-term strategic role rather than project-centric delivery.
