We are working with a global financial services who are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a high-profile Generative AI feature team developing AI-powered applications used daily by thousands of colleagues across the organisation. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the firms Generative AI strategy while leading the design, development, and deployment of innovative AI solutions within a highly regulated enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the design and development of production-grade AI applications.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Generative AI technologies.
  • Working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Evaluating and optimising Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompts.
  • Supporting cloud-native deployments and DevOps initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Experience building applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), delivering AI solutions within regulated environments.
  • Hands-on AWS experience including Bedrock, Lambda, S3, Lex, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and LLM evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
