Harvey Nash is currently recruiting for a contract opportunity with a leading Higher Education client based in Lancaster. They are looking for a personal / executive assistant to support the CIO with the day-to-day management of the university.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support service to the CIO, including management of diaries/supporting correspondence, arranging meetings, production of draft papers for committees, obtaining and preparing briefing materials.
  • Organise conference and travel arrangements for the CIO.
  • Be responsible for sickness monitoring and coordinating annual leave.
  • Arrange regular progress meetings with the CIO and their direct reports.
  • Provide support for external liaison activities, including suppliers, visitors, auditors.
  • Maintain a database of divisional external contacts.
  • Organize events, away days, programmes.
  • Represent the division as appropriate on working groups, forums, committees.
  • Be responsible for ensuring good divisional governance and the smooth conduct of divisional meetings and committees.
