Are you looking to take the next step in your IT career? My client, a well-established and growing Managed Service Provider based in Solihull, is looking for a Junior Network Engineer to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with around 2 years’ experience in IT support, looking to develop their skills in networking and security. You’ll be part of a friendly, knowledgeable team supporting a wide range of businesses with their IT needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support to a variety of clients
- Helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WiFi networks, Aruba hardware, and firewalls
- Working alongside senior engineers on installations, configurations, and ongoing network support
- Monitoring systems and maintaining documentation
What we’re looking for:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support role (MSP experience is a bonus)
- Comfortable dealing with networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Some hands-on experience or exposure to Aruba wireless solutions and firewall technologies
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop your skill set
