Job Description
Harvey Nash has an urgent requirement for Java Developer for a public sector client in Edinburgh.
- 10 week contract
- Inside of IR35
- 425 – 450 a day
- Two days a week onsite in Edinburgh
- Candidates must have a valid Disclosure Scotland check
As a Java Developer, you'll be a key part of our clients development team, working on innovative projects that make a real impact. You'll design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring they are robust, secure, and user-friendly.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Java Developer (2+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot or React
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
