A forward-thinking SaaS company is on the lookout for a Test Automation Lead to drive their testing strategy and automation practices across multiple Agile projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a company recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing (2023–2025).
Location: Egham, Surrey (Hybrid working available) 2 days onsite
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Bonus
Hours: 35 hours/week, flexible between 8am and 6pm
Reports to: Head of Testing and Service Delivery
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers and stakeholders across Agile squads
- Own automation strategies and test lifecycle planning for major releases
- Troubleshoot framework issues and guide hands-on implementation
- Support both manual and automated testing where needed
- Mentor and coach automation team members
- Drive continuous process improvement and quality assurance
What You’ll Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with C# .NET, API test automation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Skilled in building and maintaining scalable, reusable frameworks
- Proficient in Azure DevOps, Git, and other modern test management tools
- Excellent stakeholder communication, planning, and coordination skills
- Confident working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Positive, self-driven attitude and ability to work independently
Nice to have: Logistics domain experience, ISTQB certification, exposure to Selenium
