This isn’t just a leadership role. It’s a platform to build something market-defining. At Harvey Nash, we’re not starting from scratch—we’re offering a rare opportunity to own, shape and scale a high-impact Executive Search practice across the UK and Europe, backed by one of the most established and influential brands in technology recruitment globally. If you live and breathe search, thrive on winning, and want the freedom to build a practice without geographical limits, this is your moment.
Why this role stands apart:
- A legacy client base others can’t access: You’ll inherit a rich, deeply embedded client portfolio—from global enterprises to high-growth tech organisations—built over decades. These are warm, credible relationships that open doors at the very top of organisations.
- A highly experienced team with deep delivery expertise: You’ll lead two highly experienced Search Partners (20+ years each)—credible, trusted operators with a track record of delivering complex, high-value mandates. This isn’t a team you need to build from scratch—it’s a strong foundation you can immediately build on and scale.
- Unrivalled access to the tech leadership community: Through our globally recognised Digital Leadership Report (DLR)—the largest and longest-running study of its kind—you’ll engage directly with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and digital leaders across 60+ countries. You’ll also partner with David Savage, our Technology Evangelist, who leads industry platforms like Tech Talks and TechFlix—connecting you directly into the most influential technology leadership networks in the market.
- Freedom to build your own empire: No geographical constraints. No rigid playbook. This is a true "own-your-practice" opportunity—you define the strategy, build the client base, and shape the future of Executive Search within Harvey Nash.
- A brand that opens doors globally: We operate across UKI, Central Europe, the USA, and Canada, giving you a global footprint and cross-border opportunities from day one.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll lead from the front as a hands-on fee earner and strategic leader, building a high-performing Executive Search practice focused on technology and digital leadership.
- Win and deliver retained search mandates with senior technology leaders (CIO, CTO, CISO, CDO level).
- Build and execute a growth strategy for Executive Search across the UK & Europe.
- Own and drive P&L performance, creating a sustainable, high-margin business.
- Leverage Harvey Nash’s ecosystem (DLR, events, podcasts, networks) to unlock new opportunities.
- Lead, coach and inspire your team, while benefiting from their deep experience.
- Collaborate across the wider business to unlock "trickle-down" revenue into Cyber, Data, Product, Engineering, and Digital.
What makes you right for this:
- You live and breathe Executive Search—this isn’t just a job, it’s your craft.
- You’re a proven fee earner who knows how to win and deliver retained work.
- You have an established network across senior technology leadership.
- You understand how to run a rigorous, high-quality search process.
- You’re commercially sharp—able to win business and scale revenue.
- You want more than a role—you want ownership, impact, and legacy.

- Step into a leadership position with immediate credibility and backing.
- Build a market-leading technology Executive Search practice.
