Harvey Nash's public sector client is seeking a Web Content Designer to join their organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and publishing web content that is accurate, accessible and aligned to organisational standards. Working closely with marketing, communications and digital teams, you will help deliver web projects, improve user experience and support content governance across multiple digital platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and publishing engaging web content using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Monitoring website performance using Google Analytics and providing insight-driven recommendations
- Supporting web publishing processes and content governance activities
- Ensuring content complies with accessibility, brand and style guidelines
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across marketing, communications and digital teams
- Contributing to website improvement initiatives through user-centred design principles, content testing and analysis
- Producing and maintaining clear documentation, guidance and content standards
- Keeping up to date with developments in web content design, digital communications and best practice
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of TerminalFour (T4) or a similar enterprise CMS
- Significant experience in a web content, digital content or related role
- Strong web writing and content creation skills
- Experience using CMS platforms to manage and publish content
- Good knowledge of Google Analytics and website reporting
- An understanding of accessibility, usability and user-centred design principles
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital content tools
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within a higher education or large public-sector environment
- Experience of user testing and website information architecture
- Experience producing training materials, guidance and support documentation
