Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Project Manager, managing a major civil and building package valued at 500m+ as part of a nationally significant HVDC infrastructure programme.
Based on the Western Isles of Scotland with some travel to Glasgow and or Perth.
Inside of IR35, up to 650 a day. 12-month contract.
This is a site-focused role requiring strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex interfaces within a live, multi-package environment.
You will:
- Be responsible for the delivery of a 500m+ civil and building package as part of the wider HVDC project, including management of the delivery contractor.
- Have full accountability for the NEC3 contract management of your package, including interface management and change control.
- Manage the package programme, refining it through pre-construction and controlling delivery through execution in collaboration with the delivery contractor.
Criteria for the role:
- Proven experience leading teams to deliver large civil engineering or infrastructure projects (100m+) through the execution phase.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in NEC3 contract management, including negotiation, administration and ability to lead on complex contractual matters.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of project management systems, controls, and governance required for large, regulated infrastructure projects.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, construction, or project management.
