Come and work with us at Harvey Nash Project Solutions as we continue to enhance our capability to deliver complex data programmes across our client base. We are currently seeking an experienced Data Architect to support the design and delivery of a scalable, enterprise-wide data architecture. This engagement will play a key role in shaping and governing data across core platforms including SAP, Azure Data Lake and Power BI, ensuring data is structured, secure and optimised for reporting and analytics. This is a strategic, design-led role, requiring someone who can define the target-state architecture while remaining hands-on where needed to support delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement data architecture standards, principles and governance frameworks
  • Design logical and physical data models to support reporting, analytics and operational decision-making
  • Lead data architecture across SAP, Azure and BI platforms
  • Establish scalable data pipelines and integration patterns
  • Ensure strong data quality, lineage and structure across reporting environments
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align architecture with strategic goals

Key Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar senior data role
  • Strong expertise in data modelling, architecture and information design
  • Experience working with Azure Data Lake or modern cloud data platforms
  • Exposure to SAP or enterprise ERP data environments
  • Experience supporting Power BI or similar reporting platforms
  • Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of data structures
  • Experience implementing data governance, lineage and data quality frameworks
