We're looking for an experienced
Senior Content Designer to join a growing digital delivery team working on complex public sector transformation programmes.
You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including user researchers, service designers, business analysts, product managers and technical specialists to create clear, accessible and user-centred content that improves digital services for citizens and public sector users.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver content design activities across digital transformation projects.
Translate complex policy, regulatory and operational information into clear, accessible content.
Create and improve service content, guidance, forms, notifications and user journeys.
Work closely with research, design, product and delivery teams to ensure content decisions are evidence-led.
Champion accessibility, inclusion and plain English principles.
Proven experience as a Senior Content Designer.
Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Strong understanding of user-centred design, accessibility and content testing.
Experience simplifying complex information into clear, user-focused content.
Public Sector or Government experience is essential.
Experience working on Discovery and Alpha phases.
Package
Salary circa
£60,000 - £70,000 with flexibility for the right candidate.
2 days per week onsite in Leith, Edinburgh.
Remaining days worked remotely.
Candidates must be within a commutable distance of Edinburgh.
