Senior Associate in Edinburgh

Senior Associate – Investment Origination – Public Sector – Edinburgh Day Rate – up to 400 Duration – 3 months with option to be extended Harvey Nash\’s Public Sector Client is looking for a Senior Associate, who will play a crucial role in their mission to drive forward sustainable and equitable growth. You will support the investment team in providing financial, commercial and impact analysis and deal execution support. Responsibilities Creating and interpreting financial and commercial valuation models to guide decisions for potential investments. Undertaking desktop research. Scoping and assessing independent due diligence on investment opportunities, drafting and contributing to investment committee papers. Providing consistent deal execution support for the end-to-end investment process. Balance multiple time-critical deals in a complex environment, working as part of a supportive and skilled team. Skills and Experience Required Relevant work experience in a financial, commercial or industrial environment would be beneficial. Degree qualified in Business, Finance or related fields; professional qualification (CA, CFA or similar) will be highly regarded. Equally, practical experience gained in an M&A or transactional related banking, investment or corporate role would also be highly regarded for those without a degree.
