6 month contract Edinburgh Inside IR35. Harvey Nash's public sector client is looking for a Strategic HR Advisor to join their team. This role will require you to provide senior-level people leadership and act as programme lead across a portfolio of strategic People & Culture initiatives. This role will play a critical part in designing and delivering a coordinated people transformation and change agenda within a complex organisation.
Scope of Requirements
- To provide senior-level strategic HR advisory and programme leadership to design and deliver a coordinated people transformation and change agenda.
- Act as programme lead across key strategic People & Culture projects.
- Support leaders through complex change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and minimal disruption.
- Develop and embed change frameworks, tools, and governance.
- Establish delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies, and risk and issues management frameworks.
- Provide clear, concise reporting to Executive and Board level.
- Ensure integration across HR and wider business initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in strategic HR Change & Transformation within complex organisations.
- Demonstrable track record and expertise in organisational design and change management.
- Ability to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to improve operating model effectiveness, structure and organisational performance.
- Demonstrable programme management capability (multi-workstream delivery).
- Ability to operate effectively at Executive / Board level and produce high quality outputs for senior audiences.
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments, with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED).
