Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with their Edinburgh based client to appoint a new Programme Delivery specialist to both lead technology delivery and manage a team of Scrum Masters and Delivery leads.

This role is Technology centric we are looking for candidate with extensive experience of delivering a wide portfolio of Technology projects in an Agile environment.

We are looking for someone who can undertake a hybrid remit of personally delivery and also run the wider delivery function.

You will have oversight and be responsible for key value streams, ensuring projects and programmes are prioritised and delivered to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a “can do” solutions focused approach to delivery – we need you to remove blockers and help improve delivery discipline across the function.

  • Senior Programme delivery experience working across a wide portfolio of Technology projects.
  • Experience within a large-scale private sector Technology environment (10k plus users), ideally utilities or financial services.
  • Specific experience of leading multiple IT delivery streams in a complex technology environment.
  • Full line management experience (rather than matrix) of a delivery teams (delivery leads/ scrum masters etc).
  • Ability to manage risks, resolve blockers and drive work through to completion
  • A broad and in-depth understanding of planning, governance, dependency management, release readiness and operational handover
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, business and senior audiences
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability, delivery outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 days a week on site in Edinburgh
