Hydrographic Surveyor/Data Processor| 6 Month Contract | (Outside IR35) | Remote | Starting ASAP Day Rate: £DOE Job Description: Harvey Nash’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You will have a strong background in construction, data processing, and proficiency with EIVA software. This role involves conducting hydrographic surveys, analysing data, and providing accurate and reliable information to support construction and engineering projects. Main Duties: Conduct hydrographic surveys using various survey equipment and techniques. Process and analyse survey data using EIVA software. Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to provide accurate survey data. Prepare detailed reports and charts based on survey findings. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Maintain and calibrate survey equipment. Provide technical support and training to junior surveyors and other team members. Participate in project planning and execution. Proficiency in EIVA software for data processing and analysis. Strong understanding of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites. Desirable Skills: Experience with other survey software and tools. Certification from a recognized hydrographic survey organization. Knowledge of GIS and CAD software. This role has been deemed Outside IR35 by the client.
