Job Title: Data Delivery Lead

Location: Edinburgh/Bristol (3 days to office)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage the implementation of data platforms (e.g., Fabric, Snowflake) and reporting tools, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any issues that arise.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Monitor and report on project status, risks, and outcomes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading data programs and projects, with a strong track record of successful delivery.
• Expertise in data platforms such as Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks including architecture, implementation, and management. Experience of Microsoft Fabric preferred.
• Proficiency in reporting tools and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Broad experience in data technologies, such as:
• Reporting & Visualization: Google Analytics, Mezzo Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau
• Analytics Platforms: Azure Data Fabric, Data Marketplace
• AI Technologies: AI conversational chat for reporting, AI-enabled shareholder analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning.
