This is a newly created role as the business looks to challenge the likes of Revolut and Starling in the digital banking/lending space. You'll be working on the 0-1 journey, building new lending products from scratch.
This role is a Product Manager for a single delivery squad, responsible for owning the product backlog, shaping the delivery roadmap, and ensuring the squad delivers high value, compliant, customer centric outcomes.
The focus is on translating wider domain or platform strategy into actionable work, prioritising effectively, and maintaining momentum through strong cross functional collaboration. You'll act as the squad's decision maker on priorities and trade offs, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals while continuously improving the product using data, customer insight, and operational feedback.
Requirements:
- ~8 years Product experience in FinTech, Challenger Banking or Digital Banking.
- Experience building new products in a 0-1 journey.
- Exposure to Lending or Relationship Management products would be a bonus.
- Hands on product ownership of a delivery squad - specifically owning a backlog, setting priorities, and making real time trade offs to keep delivery moving.
My client is not looking for candidates who come from a typical legacy retail banking background and/or global enterprise banks - please only apply if you have built new products in the FinTech/Digital Banking space.
