A leading Liverpool-based client is seeking a Data Analyst to join the IT Services team and support ITIL v3 services across UK and international offices. The role involves collaborating with IT teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, aiding strategic planning, driving business decisions, improving efficiency, and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Key skills and responsibilities:
  • Ensure software is kept current with the latest cumulative and security patches.
  • Implement role-based security by managing user logins and permissions, and maintain robust backup strategies.
  • Plan, install, and configure new SQL instances based on stakeholder technical designs.
  • Proven experience in SQL DBA and Power BI roles is required.
  • Data collection & cleaning: Acquire and validate data from different sources.
  • Data analysis: Apply statistical methods to derive insights.
  • Power BI (Data Visualization): Design and develop interactive, dynamic dashboards.
  • Microsoft Fabric, including data factory, Data Lake, Dataverse.
  • Windows Server and Windows Clustering.
  • Possess working knowledge of networking and the networking stack.
  • Data visualization: Produce charts and graphs for better understanding.
  • Report generation: Provide clear reports to stakeholders.
  • Offer technical guidance to improve infrastructure services.
