Technical Delivery Manager - Workday & People Systems

I'm currently supporting an exciting opportunity for a Technical Delivery Manager to join a well-established organisation and take ownership of the delivery, development and continuous improvement of its Workday and People Systems landscape.
This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of Technology and HR, where you'll be responsible for ensuring people systems are delivering value to the business, supporting strategic objectives and providing an excellent employee experience.
You'll work closely with HR, Technology teams, third-party suppliers and senior stakeholders to lead the delivery of new initiatives, system enhancements, integrations and ongoing platform improvements. The role requires someone who can confidently balance technical delivery, stakeholder management and strategic planning while ensuring programmes are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery and ongoing evolution of Workday and associated People Systems
- Managing delivery roadmaps, priorities and technology change initiatives
- Working closely with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Overseeing third-party suppliers and delivery partners
- Driving system enhancements, integrations and continuous improvement activity
- Managing risks, dependencies and delivery governance across multiple workstreams
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and aligned to business needs
- Supporting the wider people technology strategy and roadmap
We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in:
- Technical Delivery Management, Project Management or Technology Programme Delivery
- Delivering complex business-critical technology platforms
- Managing stakeholders across HR, Technology and wider business functions
- Systems integrations and supplier management
- People Systems, HR Technology or Workforce Technology landscapes
