A well-established, nationally recognised hospitality and retail organisation is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, investing heavily in modern cloud platforms and customer-facing digital experiences across web, mobile and in-venue services.
The Role
As a Digital Architect, you will shape and govern customer-facing and business-critical digital solutions, with a strong focus on Azure cloud platforms and Sitecore-based digital experiences. You will work in an agile environment, partnering with product, engineering and third-party delivery teams to design scalable, secure and high-performing services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and govern digital solutions built on Azure
- Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise standards and technical governance
- Partner with product and delivery teams to define pragmatic, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on technical direction
- Promote modern engineering practices including API-first design, microservices and TDD/BDD
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience architecting digital platforms in large or complex organisations
- Strong background with Azure cloud services and Sitecore ecosystems (other platforms considered)
- Experience designing microservices and API-led architectures
- Understanding of mobile, CRM and eCommerce integrations
- Knowledge of GDPR, data protection and cyber security principles
- Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF) desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
