6 month contract Manchester/Redding Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Engineers, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and wider project teams.
  • Review and manage upstream and downstream contracts, identifying risks and negotiating favourable terms.
  • Lead commercial delivery across projects.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure effective cost control and commercial performance.
  • Support monthly project review processes, identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver accurate commercial reporting across individual projects and the wider portfolio.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities alongside finance and operational teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 Option A contracts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost control, financial management, and commercial governance.
  • Experience supporting or leading dispute resolution processes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead on commercial strategy within complex project environments.
