We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join a complex global Workday programme delivering multiple modules across a large enterprise environment. In this role, you will support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions, working closely with HRIS teams, programme stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners. You will help turn business requirements into fit-to-standard Workday solutions, support workshops and functional design sessions, and ensure configurations align with agreed design decisions and programme goals. You will also work closely with integration, reporting, security, testing, and deployment teams to support successful delivery.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience as a Workday Functional Consultant across multiple implementations
- Hands-on configuration expertise in Core HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, and Benefits
- Strong knowledge of the Workday business process framework and configuration best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into fit-to-standard Workday solutions
- Experience creating and maintaining functional documentation, including configuration workbooks, process flows, and design logs
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and go-live activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with HR, Reward, and Programme teams
- Experience managing dependencies across multiple Workday modules and workstreams
- Comfortable working within large, complex, global programme environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex functional concepts clearly
- Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments
