A leading Chinese bank is seeking a Junior Financial Crime Operations Officer to join its London team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career within Financial Crime, AML, KYC, and Compliance Operations while gaining exposure to a highly regulated banking environment.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' work experience in the UK
- Degree educated
- Previous experience within financial services, banking, or financial crime operations
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Client Due Diligence processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial crime and compliance-related operational activities
- Conduct KYC reviews and client due diligence checks
- Assist with AML and sanctions screening processes
- Review and investigate alerts, escalating potential concerns where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Compliance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders
