Solution Designer – Manchester (Hybrid) – Outside IR35 Harvey Nash is currently recruiting for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading Higher Education client of ours based in Manchester, they are looking for a solution designer to play a crucial role in the development and implementation of technology solutions across IT. Responsibilities: Understanding Requirements: They work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring that the solutions they design meet the needs of the organisation. Creating Design Specifications: They develop detailed design specifications that outline the architecture, components, and interfaces of the solution. This includes both functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborating with Teams: Solution designers collaborate with various teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure that the solution is feasible and aligns with the overall project goals. Evaluating Technologies: They assess and recommend technologies and tools that will be used in the solution, ensuring that they are suitable for the project\’s requirements and constraints.
