Job Description Solicitor We’re seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our public sector client in Edinburgh with a view to starting in January 2025 for a period of 10 months. This role has a requirement to be on site for 2 days per week in central Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating contracts. Advising on compliance, procurement, FOISA, and UK-GDPR. Supporting risk management and operational efficiency through policy development. Providing expert legal guidance across a wide spectrum of corporate law. Essential Skills & Experience: 1-2 years PQE with a valid practising certificate from the Law Society of Scotland. Proven expertise in public law and corporate legal services. Experience in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and legal compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
