Harvey Nash's Client is recruiting for a Senior Middleware Engineer on a 10 month contract.
Main Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of activities within projects and driving them to resolution.
- Working with others within and outside of your immediate team to ensure the best outcomes possible are delivered for the services the team support.
- Improving our delivery through innovation and continuous improvement.
- Working with project & technical teams to ensure our solutions meet the organisation's operational and strategic needs.
- Collaborating with internal and external parties to provide excellent customer service BAU tasks supporting Important Business Systems including progressing certificate renewals, supporting Route to Live changes.
Key Skills:
- An expertise in some of these Middleware technologies including: IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/ACE/MQ, Weblogic, JBoss 7 & 8, Windows & RHEL OS, Dynatrace.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in prioritising multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience driving complex issues.
- An ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership and responsibility for project deliverables.
- May require out of hours implementation support for project therefore flexibility regarding working hours and options for overtime.
- Ability to effectively communicate and resolve complex situations.
