We're looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Digital Leader to continually shape how technology improves lives across one of the UK's exemplar organisations. This is more than a senior technology role - it's an opportunity to lead digital transformation at a strategic level, influencing how services are designed, delivered, and experienced by residents, partners, and colleagues.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, elected members, and stakeholders to ensure digital innovation drives better outcomes, delivers value for money, and supports long-term strategic vision. A real prospect to shape modern citizen focused digital services.

Reporting to the Director of Digital, Customer and Corporate Services, you will:

  • Lead and deliver the Digital Strategy: ensuring it supports organisational priorities and future ambitions
  • Provide trusted advice to the Chief Executive, Senior Leadership team, and elected members on digital, technology and cyber security
  • Shape modern, efficient services, ensuring quality, value for money and continuous improvement
  • Drive innovation and transformation, identifying new opportunities, funding models, and commercial approaches
  • Ensure strong governance and risk management across all digital and IT services
  • Take full accountability for performance, budgets and service delivery across all digital teams including print and mail services

Significant experience as a CIO, IT Director or Senior Digital Leader in a complex organisation. Deep understanding of digital technologies, cyber security, and governance. A track record of delivering transformation, efficiency and continuous improvement. Committed to building a diverse and inclusive organisation that reflects the local community.
