Strategic partner (Employee Relations and Policy)
6 Month Contract, up to £250 p/d (Inside IR35)
Edinburgh (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations specialist to lead complex ER activity within a large organisation, providing expert advice to managers and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance and organisational change matters.
Provide expert guidance on employment law, risk management and ER best practice.
Build and maintain effective relationships with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
Support Employment Tribunal preparation and resolution of sensitive workplace issues.
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
Analyse ER trends and workforce data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Essential Experience
Extensive Employee Relations experience in a complex environment.
Managing high-risk and sensitive casework.
Strong employment law knowledge.
Trade Union engagement and partnership working.
Employment Tribunal support and case management.
Policy development and implementation.
Qualifications
CIPD qualified.
Ideal for a senior ER professional with strong employment law knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience handling complex employee relations matters.
