Board Governance Assistance | 3 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Remote | Starting ASAP

Day Rate: DOE

About the role:

You will

  • Provide high-level PA support to the Chair, managing diary, travel, and communications.
  • Act as first point of contact, handling enquiries and correspondence with discretion and efficiency.
  • Manage and triage incoming mail and emails, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Support governance processes in line with client standards, including maintaining registers and records.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Coordinate and minute meetings, ensuring accurate records and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain organised filing systems using Microsoft 365, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support the Chair and Non-Executive Directors.
  • Provide flexible support to the Governance & Corporate Records Manager and Board Secretary.

Main Duties:

  • General Admin duties
  • Creating Agendas from Workplans/Action Plans
  • Updating Workplans/Action Plans where appropriate
  • Attending committee meetings
  • Completing detailed minutes as a result of attending committee meetings, often in a variety of different styles
  • Diary Management
  • Arrangement of travel, accommodation, refreshments
  • Organising and co-ordinating large events which often requires dealing with many different stakeholders with differing views/expectations
  • Exceptional organisational skills to be able to work on several different tasks that often have conflicting deadlines
