Board Governance Assistance | 3 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Remote | Starting ASAP

About the role:
You will
- Provide high-level PA support to the Chair, managing diary, travel, and communications.
- Act as first point of contact, handling enquiries and correspondence with discretion and efficiency.
- Manage and triage incoming mail and emails, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Support governance processes in line with client standards, including maintaining registers and records.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation.
- Coordinate and minute meetings, ensuring accurate records and follow-up actions.
- Maintain organised filing systems using Microsoft 365, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support the Chair and Non-Executive Directors.
- Provide flexible support to the Governance & Corporate Records Manager and Board Secretary.
Main Duties:
- General Admin duties
- Creating Agendas from Workplans/Action Plans
- Updating Workplans/Action Plans where appropriate
- Attending committee meetings
- Completing detailed minutes as a result of attending committee meetings, often in a variety of different styles
- Diary Management
- Arrangement of travel, accommodation, refreshments
- Organising and co-ordinating large events which often requires dealing with many different stakeholders with differing views/expectations
- Exceptional organisational skills to be able to work on several different tasks that often have conflicting deadlines
