We are looking for an experienced Clojure Software Engineer to join a software development team responsible for a suite of Clojure-based web applications, APIs and supporting services. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on Clojure development, building, enhancing and maintaining robust, scalable software solutions.
The role also includes elements of DevOps, deployment and production support, with a strong emphasis on software quality, testing, scalability, security and maintainability. Strong commercial Clojure experience is essential, ideally alongside experience developing web applications, APIs and full-stack solutions.
Key skills and accountabilities,
- Proven commercial Clojure development experience.
- Strong software engineering background, ideally with functional programming experience.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API design.
- Familiarity with SPA frameworks and modern web application architecture.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
- A willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
