Overview
We are currently supporting a Tier 1 Investment Bank in their search for a Transaction & Relationship Manager to join their Debt team on an initial contract running until November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Issuer Services business, supporting the execution and implementation of Debt Agency transactions across a global client base. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing transaction documentation, coordinating deal execution and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage client transactions through the review, negotiation and execution of Debt Agency documentation including agency agreements, trust deeds, calculation agency agreements, account bank agreements, custody agreements and pledge documentation.
- Manage a portfolio of transactions and act as the primary point of contact for allocated clients.
- Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of transactions, including cash and custody account opening and internet banking arrangements.
- Coordinate all required approvals prior to deal closure, including KYC, Deal Review, sanctions screening and other internal governance requirements.
- Participate in Deal Review meetings where appropriate.
- Support revenue generation through accurate invoicing and transaction management.
- Liaise closely with Operations and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new transactions.
Required Experience
- Experience working within Debt Agency, Corporate Trust, Loan Agency, Transaction Management or a similar banking environment.
- Understanding of transaction documentation, deal execution and contract negotiation.
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General banking experience is advantageous.
