Harvey Nash is recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to join a team of specialist network professionals supporting a complex and highly available enterprise infrastructure environment. Based in Bradford, this role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of on-premise and cloud networking technologies.
We're looking for a Cisco CCNP-qualified Network Engineer (or equivalent) with strong experience across enterprise networking, routing, switching, firewalls and network security. The successful candidate will work on local, regional and national projects, contributing to the delivery of secure and resilient IT services across multiple sites and data centres.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support and maintenance across enterprise network infrastructure environments
- Manage and support Cisco ACI, Nexus and Catalyst switching platforms
- Support Cisco ASA, Firepower and Check Point firewall technologies
- Maintain and troubleshoot Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Access Point (AP) infrastructure
- Support Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN) and campus networking environments
- Administer and support VPN technologies including remote access and site-to-site connectivity
- Support corporate Wi-Fi, public and private APNs, and cloud connectivity services including Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
- Manage firewall rule bases, access control lists, NAT and PAT configurations
- Support network services including DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management solutions
- Configure and maintain VLANs, trunk ports, port channels and spanning tree environments
