Security Engineer – SolarWinds (Service Architecture) A Leading Financial Services business in Central London are looking to hire a Security Engineer; with specific experience with Solarwinds and Service Architecture 6 month contract – scope to roll Paying between £550 – £650 per day (UMBRELLA – Inside IR35) Based in London Hybrid working (2 in office, 3 from WFH) Overview Design, optimise and run Solarwinds Server and Application Manager: Take ownership of the system monitoring technology, create technical and service architectures to define a fully managed service across EMEA. Research, design and enhance Axonius: Take ownership of the asset discovery technology, research capabilities, define a future state architecture and realise your vision. Ensure your vision is maintained through the creation of processes and procedures as part of a wider service offering defined in a service architecture. Duties and Responsibilities The successful Security Engineer will be responsible for the following: Create architectures (High Level Design and Low Level Design). Create a Service Architecture (operational runbooks, service descriptions, KPI/KRI etc.). Create business as usual processes. Take ownership of business as usual break-fix and enhancement activities. Work outside of business hours to perform change. Work with vendors to drive change. Qualifications, Skills and Experience 3+ years demonstrated experience of creating technical architectures. 3+ years demonstrated experience of deploying and managing cyber security technologies and services. 3+ years demonstrated experience of patching Windows clients and servers using WSUS and SCCM. The ability to successfully influence people who are not direct reports and who have very diverse working styles, working practices and cultural backgrounds. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of communication with peers and stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills with a process efficiency mind-set. Team-oriented and collaborative mindset. Precise attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in both consulting and/or finance (i.e. banking) (highly desirable). #J-18808-Ljbffr
