We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Business Analyst (FI/CO) for a unique and challenging contract opportunity within the manufacturing sector. This is not a typical BA role – we\’re looking for someone who brings deep SAP FI/CO expertise , strong functional knowledge , and the confidence to work independently in a complex environment.
This contract is likely to be outside IR35 , working on a hybrid basis. Visiting the Manchester office up to 2 days per week.
This position will require you to own and drive initiatives , working closely with business and technical teams. You must be comfortable leading conversations, managing vendor relationships, and navigating intricate SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in SAP FI/CO , with strong knowledge of Material Ledger .
- Support and optimise processes within SAP ECC environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Manage and support OpenText vendor management solutions.
- Provide functional expertise to support finance and controlling modules across manufacturing operations.
- Work independently, taking ownership of your domain with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements and support activities within the SAP ecosystem.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant or Business Analyst in manufacturing environments .
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Material Ledger and ECC .
- Experience with OpenText for vendor management solutions.
- Ability to work independently and confidently – this is a senior role that demands initiative and leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally able to work onsite 2 days per week .
