- Cyber Asset Management Analyst - (Havant/Reading/Hybrid) - Inside IR35
- Day Rate - up to £600
- Duration - 6 months
This role will support the development and maintenance of cyber asset management capability, ensuring accurate, complete and trusted asset information is available to support cyber risk management, incidents and assurance and regulatory activities.
The role will improve visibility of critical assets, ownership, dependencies and asset data quality across the organisation.
- Scope of the role
- Work with business units to improve the quality, completeness and consistency of cyber asset data.
- Support the identification, extraction and consolidation of asset data from multiple sources to address tactical asks within a critical project.
- Develop and maintain central cyber asset inventory standards.
- Develop a medium-term asset orchestration approach to improve asset visibility, governance, integration and secure lifecycle management across the organisation.
- Support alignment of asset information to cyber risk management, assurance and regulatory requirements.
- Identify data quality issues, process gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Produce reporting and management information on asset coverage, completeness and risk exposure.
- Key Skills
- Experience in asset management, CMDBs, asset inventories or cyber governance.
- Strong data management, analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, asset discovery and inventory processes.
- Understanding of cyber security, risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working across multiple business units and technology teams to improve data quality and governance.
