Lancaster University are seeking an experienced project manager to work with teams from Facilities, Information Systems Services and Academic Departments to lead on the delivery of a high-profile Immersive Simulation space. This is a full time, fixed term position until March 2026.

The role will be crucial to coordinating all activities for internal departments and third-party Construction, IT and Audio-Visual contractors. During the building phase, this will ensure successful integration of highly specialist Audio Visual equipment and a state-of-the-art simulation system with dedicated IT workstations and a control room space.

You will work alongside internal delivery teams who bring the required experience of the specialist areas. There is a challenging timeline for the project, and the successful candidate must have strong experience in delivering to strict deadlines ideally in a project combining building and technology elements.

The role is based on the Lancaster University Bailrigg campus. For internal University staff, a secondment opportunity may be considered for this role - please ensure you have agreement from your current line manager before you apply.
